Bacon, Blueberry and Maple Waffles

We’ve used our 7L Stand Mixer to whisk up the fluffiest batter and our Digital Waffle Maker to get that perfect golden crunch.
Think golden waffles with crispy streaky bacon, juicy blueberries and a drizzle of maple syrup… the kind of breakfast that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together (even if you’re still in your dressing gown).


Waffle batter (makes 6):

- 150g self-raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 medium eggs
- 240ml full-fat milk

To serve:

- Crispy streaky bacon
- Fresh blueberries
- A generous drizzle of maple syrup (don’t hold back)

 

Method

1. Simply add the batter ingredient into your Stand Mixer and whisk until silky smooth.
2. Fry off your bacon until it’s beautifully brown and crispy. Set aside and keep warm.
3. Pre-heat your Waffle Maker, then spoon in a generous spoonful of waffle batter into each section.
4. When your waffles are ready (you’ll see by the countdown timer!) use the handy spatular to lift them out.
5. Plate up, top with your crispy bacon, a handful of juicy blueberries and a generous drizzle of maple syrup.
6. Enjoy & repeat!
