Date Night Inspo - Spicy Garlic & Chilli Prawn Pasta

Spicy Garlic & Chilli Prawn Pasta

Ready in 15 minutes | Serves 2 | Spice level 🌶️🌶️ (adjust to taste)

Made using our stainless steel pasta pot and sauté pan, and served up into our beautifully simple white stoneware pasta bowls.

Ingredients
- 2 shallots
- 3 garlic cloves
- A knob of All Things Dairy Garlic & Herb butter
- 225g raw king prawns
- 1 red chilli (more if you like it extra hot)
- 200g cherry tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato purée
- A splash of white wine
- 150g pasta of your choice (we used Manfredini for extra twizzly fun)
- A bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon, to finish

Method
- Fill your pasta pot with water, bring to the boil and cook the pasta according to packet instructions.
- While the pasta cooks, melt the garlic & herb butter in your hot sauté pan.  Add the shallots and fry gently for a few minutes until softened – keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
- Add the garlic and chilli, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in a splash of white wine and allow it to cook off.
- Add the cherry tomatoes, tomato purée and prawns. Give everything a good stir, pop the lid on, reduce the heat slightly and simmer for around 5 minutes, until the prawns are cooked through.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the sauté pan with plenty of fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
- Dish up and enjoy with someone you love (and a chilled glass of white)

✨ Top Tip
Save a splash of pasta water before draining - it helps the sauce cling beautifully to the pasta and makes everything extra silky.
